Both positions are live-in and will support one woman in one of the assisted living homes in our Kenai Intentional Neighborhood, which is a self-sustaining community built for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The Jobs

Lead Resident Manager

The Kenai Intentional Community (KIN) Lead Resident Manager provides services to Hope support recipients through their leadership in the KIN community and of a KIN Assisted Living Home.

The Lead Resident Manager is responsible for the overall supervision and management of their assigned home and the health and safety of the support recipients. This position also fosters community supports throughout the Kenai Intentional Neighborhood, serving as a leader and coach of quality support services for complex situations.

We are looking for someone who provides and ensures the delivery of a wide range of services including but not limited to personal care, transportation, the teaching of life, social, and communication skills, and all other needed supports for social independence and community inclusion.

This position leads and supervises their assigned home’s Home Alliance Specialist and team of direct support employees to ensure accurate implementation and fulfillment of each recipient’s Support Plan.

 

Assistant Resident Manager

The Kenai Intentional Neighborhood (KIN) Assistant Resident Manager provides services to Hope support recipients through their daily oversight of an Assisted Living Home in the Kenai Intentional Neighborhood, under the direction of a KIN Lead Resident Manager.

The Assistant Resident Manager ensures the health and safety of support recipients and provides a wide range of services. This position includes teaching of living skills, social and communication skills, and other needed life skills for social independence and community inclusion.

The Assistant Resident Manager facilitates communication amongst all members of the support recipient’s team. This position provides daily oversight while working in the home, ensuring the implementation of the Support Plan(s).

Salary & Benefits
  • Lead Resident Manager: $52,833 - $60,721
  • Assistant Resident Manager: $49,138 - $56,488

Schedule
  • Week on, week off shifts
  • 16-hour days with on-site supervision while on shift
  • Housing provided while in working status
Position Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Two years of directly related experience
