Community Engagement & Events

Hope Studios

Hope Studios is a lively, inspiring place that will lift your spirits and spark your creativity. Volunteers are always welcome to join Hope Studios' creative team and assist in various art projects. You don't need to be an artist to contribute—just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to collaborate.

Art Gallery

Hope Studios also runs a public art gallery and is always on the lookout for cheerful people to help with customer greeting, cashiering, inventory management, and other retail activities. This is a perfect opportunity for retirees or anyone with customer service experience or interest.

Children's Recreational Programs

Engage with children of all abilities through fun, inclusive activities like arts and crafts, outdoor play, story time, and games. Volunteers help offer a safe, supportive environment where every child can learn, play, and grow.

Adults' Recreational Programs

Direct Support & Companionship

Job Coaching & Life Skills

Help people with disabilities build the confidence and skills they need to thrive in everyday life. Volunteers may assist with tasks like job coaching, practicing interview skills, creating resumes, or offering support with daily living skills such as cooking, budgeting, or time management. Your guidance can empower others to reach personal goals and greater independence.

Residential Group Home Services

Provide companionship and engagement for residents in Hope's assisted living homes. Volunteers may assist with mealtimes, household tasks, games, or simply spending quality time with residents.

Transportation / Day Habilitation

Volunteers can support people with disabilities as they navigate the community for errands, social activities, or appointments—whether by assisting with transportation logistics, offering guidance in public transit, or helping during day programs. This role promotes independence and helps people stay connected to their communities in safe and meaningful ways.

Administrative Support

Behind-the-scenes help is essential to keeping programs running smoothly. Volunteers in this area support staff with tasks such as data entry, organizing files, preparing mailings, and making/answering phone calls. Facility & Maintenance Support
