There are several ways you can contribute to Hope and make a meaningful impact on the lives of the people who choose our supports. We are grateful for your participation and support!
You can make a gift to Hope in the form of cash, check, or credit card. Every donation, regardless of the amount, helps Hope continue to provide essential services and supports to people and families with disabilities that are not covered by Medicaid.
Become a monthly donor to make a bigger, longer-term impact. Regular contributions help ensure the sustainability of our programs and allow us to plan and expand our essential services. Your consistent support makes a lasting difference for the people who choose our services.
Choose a specific program or fund that resonates with you most. Hope has a variety of donation categories such as affordable housing, Hope Studios, the endowment fund, community joy programs, and the First National Bank Scholarship Fund. Your targeted donation will go directly to the cause you care most about.
Purchase items from our merchandise shop. Choose from our collection of logo wear, including t-shirts, hoodies, beanies, and hats. You can also purchase stuffed animals that were created by the talented artists of Hope Studios. All proceeds from merchandise sales help fund our programs and services, allowing you to make a difference while proudly showcasing your support.
Send a donation e-card in honor of a friend or loved one. Choose from a selection of beautifully designed e-cards created by the talented artists of Hope Studios. Sending one of our e-cards is a meaningful way to make a donation in memory of a loved one, in honor of someone special, or to celebrate someone's birthday.

Participate in Hope's Events
Hope Community Resources hosts several events each year that rely on the active participation and support of businesses and community members to be successful. Other Ways you can Support Hope
Donate In-Kind Gifts
Consider donating products or services that Hope can use for specific purposes. Prior to dropping off an in-kind gift, we kindly ask that you email our Public Relations team to confirm that Hope can accept and utilize the item as intended. Your generosity in providing in-kind gifts directly contributes to our ability to fulfill the needs of those we serve.
Pledge through Pick.Click.Give.
Alaska residents can support Hope by pledging a portion of their Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD) through the Pick.Click.Give. program. When filing your PFD application, simply select Hope as your chosen charity, and a portion of your dividend will be directed towards our mission. Every dollar donated through Pick Click Give helps us continue providing essential services and support to individuals in need. Between April 1 and August 31, you can add or change your pledge by visiting pfd.alaska.gov and selecting the green ‘Add or change your Pick.Click.Give. donation’ button.
Participate in a Community Giving Program
Join Fred Meyer Community Rewards and select Hope Community Resources as your charity of choice. Simply sign up for the program, and every time you make a purchase at Fred Meyer using your rewards card, Hope will receive donations based on your total spending. Your everyday purchases can make a meaningful difference in supporting our mission.
Shop or Donate Items to Fashion Pact
Visit FashionPact and shop from their selection of items priced at $5 each. When you choose Hope during your shopping or donation process, FashionPact generously donates 30% of each item's price to support Hope and other local non-profits. Shop at one of their two locations in Anchorage — 221 E Dimond Blvd and 2520 E 68th Ave — or on their online store.
Make a Planned Gift
Donors can leave a lasting legacy by making a planned gift to Hope Community Resources. Planned giving options include bequests through wills, annuities and trusts, retirement plans, and life insurance plans.
- A bequest through your will: With this approach, you can designate assets such as stocks, bonds, or real estate to Hope through your will or a revocable trust. You can donate a specific asset, a certain dollar amount, a percentage of your estate or any assets remaining in your estate after your loved ones receive their share.
- Designate Hope as your life insurance beneficiary: You can choose Hope to be a beneficiary or contingent beneficiary of your life insurance policy. Doing so could lower the value of your estate, which may reduce estate taxes. Complete the beneficiary forms for the particular asset of which you wish to list Hope as a beneficiary. (First, ensure your insurance policy allows you to designate a charity as your beneficiary, as some insurers prohibit this.)
- Designate Hope as a beneficiary for your retirement account(s): With an IRA or qualified retirement account, you can designate Hope as the beneficiary. Another option is to donate your retirement proceeds via a donor-advised fund, an account created specifically for donations to charity.
