Jared DavisDirector of Properties & MaintenanceJared joined Hope as our Director of Properties & Maintenance in November 2021. In this position, Jared is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance of all properties and vehicles owned by Hope, as well as planning and executing construction and remodeling projects. Additionally, he plays a key role in managing the leasing, purchasing, and selling of vehicles and properties for the organization. Jared's professional background is primarily in the Alaska commercial fishing industry, though he also has experience in the oil & gas and shipping industries. Throughout his career, Jared has held various positions, including managing terminals in remote areas of the state. In these roles, he oversaw residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects, as well as day-to-day operations and customer service. Despite his love for the commercial fishing industry and remote Alaska, Jared and his family decided it was time for a new chapter in their lives. Seeking better opportunities for his children and a chance to make a meaningful impact, Jared eagerly accepted the opportunity to relocate to Wasilla and assume his current role at Hope. He embraces Hope's values and mission wholeheartedly and finds great satisfaction and joy in striving to live up to them. While not at work, Jared enjoys spending quality time with his wife Jessica and their two children, Justice and Ryah. They enjoy various activities such as playing games and cooking. During the winter months, Jared can often be found at the ice rink, supporting Justice in his hockey pursuits and cheering on Ryah as she practices figure skating. And he never misses an opportunity to watch his favorite team, the Golden Knights, on TV. “Go Knights Go!” |
